Casting Call

The Mildura Cast - Kathryn & Tania.

We will be waiting here when you get back.

We returned to Hay with a glaringly empty back passenger seat.

Just as we entered the 60km zone a beep beep from the phone informed us :

“The Eagle has landed *Salute*”

Excellent.

As we arrived back in the OHT – Natasha’s plane had finally touched down in Griffith.

So in approximately 1.5 hours give or take time the Eagle would be able to meet up with the rest of the cast for the greatly anticipated curtain call.

The beeping phone continued it’s song as more messages revealed that the Mildura contingent had arrived and awaited us at the Long Paddock Cafe and Grill.

The Mildura contingent consisted of creative types Kathryn Sammut and Tania Wilson Hanstock.

These gals were pumped for the most talked about weekend since Queen Lizzy turned 50.

They awaited latte in hand, enthusiasm in heart.

Can be found: Running her beautiful online shop Tania Louise where she sells chemical free beauty products, lovely homewares and clothing, being a Mum to two beautiful children, updating her facebook status and losing and finding her lucky scarf.

I must be honest with you, I went to school with Kathryn and we go way back in three dimensions – however if it weren’t for social media we probably would not have regained contact with each other many years after school.

Through the power of social media and Kathryn I was introduced to the very lovely Tania who also doubled as our make-up artist for the project using her mineral makeup products.

But what is with all the makeup and photographers you ask???

Well just wait – we’ll get to that — for now – you are just meeting the cast.

It was on our way to the cafe that news struck that Em Bradshaw and her Hot  BF (her words not mine) both of Wild Fillies Photography had arrived.

They had just checked in to the motel of my wonderful friends Elle and Gary (who you will meet soon) at the Saltbush Motor Inn – 4 star heaven.

It was all on…

Want to find out what the heck we were doing?

How do we all get on once the cast is finally together?

What ambitious thing do we try and achieve in a short period of time?

WOAH! So many questions, give a girl a break!

At this part in the story the friends are just about to  come together to meet for the very first time.

Nerves and excitement are at their peak.

Somewhere in the background I could hear a familiar theme tune… but with a twist…
