Part three of the adventure.
If you missed part one go here and it will lead you to part two. Keep up people!
So off we went ready to meet Em Bradshaw and Andrew Yeo from Wild Fillies Photography.
I have had many laughs and 2D correspondence with Em in the last few months, she was reader of the week here and would you believe we were introduced via twitter! (word up to Pattycam for the introduction!)
How very twenty-first century!
We met in 140 characters or less, but have certainly spoken in greater characters since!
We met in the Long Paddock Cafe smack bang in the middle of the One Horse Town.
As Em puts it – meeting was like meeting a New Old Mate (and as Natasha later put it, -Â a NOM – Natasha later revealed herself to be quite the queen of the acronym which is unusual to find in an OHT).
Before I get carried away with the first meeting – I owe you guys some profiles:
Introducing the brilliant photographers of this unique weekend – Em Bradshaw & Andrew Yeo!!!
Starsigns: Pisces and Gemini (astrologically speaking a fine combination)
Live : in Dubbo
The Caper with their wild business? Wild Fillies Photography was created to showcase all things Outback; Landscapes, Rodeo, Campdraft, People and Businesses.
Wild Fillies offer Portrait and Commercial Photography all over Australia.
They love to travel and experience this beautiful country and meet the wonderful people out in this ‘big paddock’ called Oz.
Where more fitting for my first meeting with Em and Andrew than the Long Paddock Cafe and Grill I ask? I told you I had covered all details.
It was EXACTLY like meeting a New Old Mate – Em and Andrew met Cowboy and Monte and Tania and Kathryn and our hairdresser Casey (be patient, you will meet her soon too)
In a sea of lattes and focaccias and excitement we spoke at one million miles, all pumped to be in the one place finally in three dimensions and not hidden behind our laptops.
It was the best of times.
The crew minus the “Eagle” were all together and excited.
We looked at the clock and it was almost 3pm – we had an ambitious task ahead of us!!!
We really did have to make “Hay” while the sun shined!
We headed to the home of our preparations the most beautiful boutique shop – Hayven owned by one of my besties in the OHT – Elle.
You know, the one I met online even though we live in the same town?

You’re such a tease…
How fantastic you were both able to hook up and actually meet. I am so pleased for you all, wish I were there too. Hugs and enjoy, don’t you just love the ‘net on days like this? (Say g’day to Dubbo for me, I was the first female rep to work for The Land Newspaper, God I loved that job)
