Sex & The Country Photoshoot!

If you have missed the story behind the photoshoot please start here, each post will lead you to the next.

I had a dream.

I love blogging so much, as it has been a forum for meeting so many friends, and I wanted to meet some of the fantastic gals I have met online.

We did it in the form of a fashion shoot celebrating modern friendship, fun fashion, and Rural Australia.

It was a bit of a spoof of Sex and the City – showing that you can be glam, have fantastic friends and fun wherever you are.

I wanted to  highlight that a life in the Country doesn’t have to be ‘daggy’  and Country Folk are not the ‘poor cousins’ of the City kids!

I have been on both sides of the fence and have to say creativity soars without the distractions of the City!

It is not necessary to be in New York, -  with a bit of imagination you can dress up, have amazing friends and be oh so glamorous even at the working-class pub downtown Rural Australia!

It is what we did!

Dream it + Do it – the only obstacles are the ones you create!

With massive gratitude to the following businesses for acting as our watering cans:

Wild Fillies Photographers Andrew Yeo and Em Bradshaw,  Verily, Pipduck, wYse Bodywear, Elle from Hayven, Violet & I, MiMi First, Gary from Saltbush Motor Inn, Kathryn’s Creations, Tania Louise, Hats by Felicity, Styling You, Notes From A Muse; Casey from Fatal Attraction Hair & Beauty Salon, Long Paddock Cafe and Grill Hay,Commercial Hotel Hay, Shear Outback, Perfect Balance Kinesiology and Hay Show Society (and thanks to all the girls + boy for making the trek to the unknown!)

Each of the people and businesses listed above took a chance on a crazy idea both lending and giving clothing / shoes / jewellery for the shoot. Fantastic supporters and fellow grass ‘waterers’ for being involved. Thank-you to the girls for taking the leap of faith and meeting me in 3D!

Thank-you from the bottom of my heart.

Please enjoy the photo shoot and story below, special thanks to  Luke the wonderful “One Horse” for narrating

They were purposefully green (you know grass is greener and all that!) pretty deadly though!!!! Especially these days as I’m not as good with the cocktail as I used to be… (baby will do that!)
