“Not Guilty Your Honor”

Judy lets Sharni off for having good character and intentions.

Not sure if anyone is reading this but here I go for day five.

These complicated Vitamin B tablets make me feel queazy.

Last night I had an argument with Cowboy and I went out and I bought a packet of Natural Confectionary Forbidden Fruit Lollies (yes how apt).

I ate the lot of them while driving around the block a few times.

I came back and resumed my life.

Guilty?

No because they (apparantly) are not as bad as Retro Party Mix.

Guilty?

No, because I am doing well – perfection overnight would be an unrealistic expectation dooming me for depression.

Today? I had a soy latte with sugar. Soy was nice, I will work on eliminating the sugar. Only had one, and haven’t had a coffee in days.

Guilty? No I am not, will you stop asking me that.

Every day the healthy habits are cementing a little more.

Every day I have an extra spring in my step.

Every day I am showing Monte what a healthy eating person eats. (he didn’t see me in the car).

Case closed.

    Retro party mix…my bad!

Stay strong. Have one day a week when you can eat whatever crap you want.

When this flu pisses off I will join you again.

Husband has just started a 12 week challenge with the local gym. He will lose 12 kilos in one week.

    Ugh!

You don’t need to take supplements – especially if they make you feel ill! If you need to get more vitamin B in your diet, eat more whole grains and beans. Potatoes and bananas are good too. There are so many in the B group – do a little googling and you’ll easily find healthy food sources that will top up your B. Supplements are really only ever of use if you can’t get the vitamins and minerals you need through food. Plus, since they’re not natural, your body can’t absorb them as well. A bit of a rip off, to be honest, but canny advertising ensures it’s a multi-million dollar industry!
