Best Idea Wins! What Have You Got?

I have another copy of Jane Kennedy’s fabulous book to give away. This time it will go to the person with the most brilliant idea and/or contact to help me get major sponsorship and awareness for my run.

Increased chance to win if you actually do some legwork for me,  ie – talk to someone on my behalf that could be interested! You will definitely win if you can muster up a major pledge/ sponsorship for me.

If there are too many brilliant ideas I shall see what more I can get in the way of prizes, OK?!

Sound like a challenge?

And ummmm I will choose the winner based on merit and do-ability (a word) of the idea.

Get your thinking caps on people! Good Luck

Winner announced on Thursday.

In the meantime, if you haven’t already- watch my video and please share it around.

I think it’s time that all your supporters get in contact with Sunrise/The Morning Show. If we all ‘hound’ (in the nicest way possible!) them then they will get the hint that this is worth doing a story on. Come on everyone, go to there stories page and tell them this is what you want a story on – ‘the fantastic women from the one horse town doing something amazing for the women of Afghanistan.’

Great minds think alike! I was thinking The Circle (if it’s still on?)… they are often up for positive women orientated stories.

    Hi Sharni,
I would write to or call the feminist bookshop in sydney .
They may be able to donate some books towards your cause or may be able to put your cause in their newsletter or on their website?….
they have a News and Events page on their site you could possibly use to spread the word?

Time allowing , perhaps contact a university publication or look into local radio.

    Good luck

    Hannah :)

Absolutely! I’d be heading down the lines of a talk show, The Circle would be awesome, they’re really into womens issues and to be able to vocalise Sharni’s project would be a big plus on their side also, as well as attracting interest from other avenues.

    One more Idea…
The 7:00m report on channel ten weeknights at 7pm.
they often feature stories about good causes .
Last week they followed a girl working overseas doing charity work.

The 7pm report on channel 10 weeknights would be a good one as well!
They often have mini stories looking at people doing good things for charity.
Recently they had a young girl who was working overseas doing aid work.

Worth a try and would get a prime time audience!
