Expressions of Interest – Can You Help?

I am very excited to have been offered the title of  “Director of the Afghan Women’s Writer’s Project Down Under.

Thank-you Masha Hamilton for this opportunity.

Now, this is where YOU come in. With my video circulating rapidly and pledges coming in frequently, I am seeking expressions of interest for some like-minded souls to join me on a committee.

I am looking for someone who can help me keep track of pledges and donations on the ‘grass roots’ level, and someone to help me chase up the (soon to come! Please!) donations to come on a corporate/sponsors level, and am open to anybody else’s ideas on how they might like to help!

As a Stay at Home Mama of a young toddler aswell as trying to do this training to achieve the 5km, this has become a project I need some help on.

I need organised folk who can help me keep it together!

Please leave me a message if you are interested in joining this committee to help make a difference to women writers in Afghanistan.

Secondly, if you want to know more about the project but don’t have the time to be involved, perhaps you would like to receive the newsletter to keep up to date with the project and the difference we are making? Message me your email address and I will add you to the list.

Thanks to everybody who has shared my video around on Facebook, twitter, YouTube and on their blogs.

Thank-you to everybody who has pledged, donated prizes, and helped me to spread the word.

Let’s keep it going and create something magical.

If you would like to pledge, please leave a comment below also – my run is on the 8th of January and I believe it could be at 3am as its TOO DARN HOT!

Thanks again everyone.
