We have been living in our new town for just over a week now, and what an introduction it has been!
We have gone from ummmm status updates around the clock in the OHT to ooooh  la la indulgence and frivolity!
What a time to have moved.
On Saturday we went to La Festa, Griffith’s Easter Festival famous for it’s wine tasting and multi-cultural cuisine. We made our debut at this massive event with our neighbours and then met up with a great friend of mine and her family who I have known since Kindergarden and we now live in the same town again.
La Festa was La Hectic with our kids doing the runner and queues for Dutch Pancakes out of this world, but we enjoyed the vibe, the busi-ness, and the atmosphere!
Last night, our neighbours Nat and Gav invited us to a dinner party at their house. Â We were so very excited to attend with a guest-list of 20 and were looking forward to meeting new friends.

Yes shoes and accessories from Birdsnest crossing over from work to weekend. 56 metres of regrowth models own.
Oh.My.Lord
Suffice it to say I don’t know how I can EVER invite them to a dinner party at ours, without suffering enormous anxiety. I feel the need to inform you we live next door to Master Chefs.
We ate for Australia.
They put on an incredible feast.
Gav made the pizzas, I am not talking frozen bases bought from the frozen aisle, I’m talking the real deal, from scratch. Oh, not to mention the bread he also made.
Nibblies ahoy.
I died and went to foodie heaven when I tasted Natalie’s Caramelised french shallot tarte tatin
Heaven help my heart, they were so yummy they were dangerous!
So after rounds and rounds of all kinds of pizza, we then had a pasta smorgosbord to choose from followed by amaaaaaaazing cheesecake, sticky date pudding, marsbar slice AND Pavlova loaf.
Cowboy and I had such a lovely time. We were impressed no end and are so grateful for such a glowing introduction to our new chapter.
Monte had a plethora of kids to run around with til late, and he indulged a little himself
I have a feeling living out here is not going to do my waistline any favours.
BUT then, there will always be Saturday Morning yoga, indoor netball, Zumba and spin classes.
Oh yeah, new chapter, we are picking up what you are putting down, Brother.
