Sharnanigans is a website that evolved from my blog The Chronicles of Sharnia.
It was designed and put together by a VERY talented and highly creative, intuitive, genius of a gal – Olena - you can find her here and employ her. Highly, highly recommend her.
This is a site of explorations : Motherhood, emerging spirituality, women’s issues, and general tales of a life lived with an inquiring and whimsical mind.
It is intended to make you laugh, feel inspired, be silly, find out stuff, learn, grow and connect!
I hope to attract types who like to think outside the square (but hate the saying ‘think outside the square.’)
I want to reach people who say “Hmmmph” to conforming and “Hoorah!” to being who they are and building identities based around who they really are, not who they feel they “should be”
Everything on this website is written by me, unless otherwise stated. I don’t mind if you use any of it but please link it back here, or ask ! Cheers!
Readers of the Chronicles of Sharnia say:
” Sharni is an inspirational writer. She proves that life is interesting no matter where you live and what you do, as long as you have a positive attitude, a sense of humour and a healthy curiosity. ” Rhona – Acting the Maggot
” I love Sharni because she finds super interesting people of all kinds, in all places, with all sorts of views and stories and is dedicated to what she is passionate about..a place where so many of us seem to vacillate between motivation and self-doubt.
I want to plan for a life swap someday because I want to stand in her shoes and feel the inspiration of an amazingly talented, ambitious and successful woman!” Laura Morduant
“Sharni is fun , honest and real. She is clever but accessible. Easy to read but exhibits great depth.
She is like the ‘girl up the street who is friends with all the kids, the one all the girls want to be friends with. Cool, sassy, adventurous and inquisitive. Sharni asks the questions and explores the subjects we all would if we had the time or the balls! A little bit wacky and not afraid to show it. I love how she find adventures in her 1 horse town.” Alice Grist, Author
” Sharni thinks deeply and is not afraid to talk spiritual, yet manages to not come across as a tree-hugging hippy! It paves the way for the rest of us to be open and honest about our own beliefs. And the honesty, on that note, is very welcome too. I love the mix of deep thoughts and light-heartedness in her writing” Miss Swirley
“I love Sharni. She is an Australian gal who lives in a one-horse town with her child and cowboy husband. She used to be a cosmopolitan woman and can’t entirely give that side up, hence her wonderful blog which keeps her connected. She is funny, witty, honest, and real. “ Katherine Jenkins
“This cool, funny chick is also a newly minted blogger and mummy, and her tales of a former city girl adjusting to life in her One Horse Town often has me in stitches.” Quixotic Life
“I recently discovered Sharni and I am really enjoying her posts. She is very creative, intuitive and fun. “ Author Aine Butler-Smith Evolving Spirit
